I Used to play Shift 2 Alot, as I am a racing enthusiast. I love Simulators (Rfactor, Live for speed, Shift 1, Shift 2 etc) But sadly my G25 Broke a while ago and I have not touched a racing game afterwards.
Dude get it fixed or buy a new wheel. Im currently playing with my gamepad, Is there a big difference when using a steering wheel over the joypad
Makes a world of difference. A Steering wheel like a G25 brings simulators to life.
You have Gas, Brake and Clutch pedals, steel not plastic.
Got a Leather Wheel with 900degrees rotation
Got a 7 Speed Gearbox (6+ reverse) and TipTronic paddleshift.
Dual force feedback motors etc.
G25 + G27 are the king of steering wheels. But they are very very expensive.
You can try any of the various other wheels on the market, but if you are really a hardcore racing fan, then you will be in love with a wheel like this.
Excuse the guy's doucheness of wearing a helmet, but this will give you an idea

Note the dials and LED's on the steering wheel as well in the vid.
