    QFT.

It's actually kinda sad: an innovative FPS comes out and the bulk of the market (the 'hardcore' gamers) slag it off, but release the same old crap to appease the masses and we get stuck with yet another bland shooter clone that takes us two steps backward.

I agree its becoming a bit miff now, but at least they have stated now that there will be some new features/innovations ect.

So why not wait and see?

Oh wait I forgot...Gamers are the bain of gaming. Instead of being optimistic, they would rather bitch and moan about something they know nothing about, seeing as there are no official details of the new game.
Thats a poor excuse. You could say the same for the music industry. Look at justin beiber he is a success but it does not make him good.

    Just an opinion.

Justin Bieber's music isn't technically bad. I don't like it myself, but that does not make it bad music. He's pretty good at what he does.

Just like most of the music on radio or that we dance to at clubs...

Who's to say just because it uses a lot of autotune it's bad?

    In the end, taste differs.

yes it is bad. What about the truly talented musicians that don't need programs for them to sound good?
And all the music on the radio = crap. All the dance music = crap. Except with dance music its is electronic.

but I am not going to argue about music on a gaming forum.

And who decides what music is good or bad? To say I dislike any variation of metal is an understatement, and I cannot fathom how someone can enjoy it. That does not make it crap though.

In the end it all comes down to opinion.

Just like CoD. Who decides whether it's crap or not? What it does it does well. There are a lot of people who enjoy it. Who are we to say different?

If it uses a new engine with everything (and I mean everything) built from scratch then I might be willing to give CoD a second chance. As long as they keep pumping out the same shit year after year they aren't getting a cent from me. Medieval Warfare or Space Warfare might also help.

    Hmm, alrighty then.

So anyway, I don't think they're going to come up with anything good, or anything exciting at all. I just don't think they are capable of producing anything outside of the scope of the same old shit they've been doing for years. New engine? Nope. It's coming this year so it's just going to be another cash in.

+1. Stuck between a CoD and a hard place.
