Well Diablo 1 was the first hack and slash rpg I played. Got te game on a demo cd when we bought our first pentium computer and I was blown away by that game, well as much as a 12 or 13 year old could be. Since then the game has not let me down going from Diablo to the expansion to D2 to D2 Lord of Destruction. The book would do wonders in my awe that is the Diablo series. I just need to read it first and what better way then to win a copy of it

cos i missed out on the other comps to win D3?

anyways, i played D1 on playstation for the 1st time ... and it paved the road for RPGs for myself, it basically started my addiction to gaming

uwc lunchbreaks and after hours included locking pc labs and doing some hell or nightmare runs in D2 ... possible reason why i NEARLY failed my studies LOL

I still have D1 and D2 cd's here. Been waiting for this game for such a very long time. I remember reading through the little booklet of D2 on the toilet like 20 times :)

Let me win one of those books and I will eat extra cheese every day !!!

I fell in love with the dark atmosphere with Diablo when I was 12. During high school Diablo II was the reason why I failed maths two years in a row. I'm 26 now, and Diablo III is the reason I might actively start gaming again after three years of not doing any gaming.

Because I can't even tell you how many hundreds of hours were sunk in Diablo II. And the fact that not a day goes by that I don't anticipate the announcement of Diablo III's release date. I've also been dying to get my hands on Book of Cain since late December 2011.

I love diablo and already booked plans to get CO - Op the game as soon as it comes out. It is a game that has grown with me and every now and then I go back to the legend.

Why I want the book is to add to the already growing gmaing collection of mine of collectors editions and steelbooks. This book will go perfectly with that.

I love diablo because its dark, gothic ambience makes me feel all fuzzy, hearkening back to the "early days" of gaming. Encountering the Butcher for the first time, lazarus, leoric.... Grouping up with 3 of my mates on LAN and wiping repeatedly on an extra strong, extra fast, fanat enchanted Hephasto in hell. Taking half an hour to solo normal diablo with my summoner necromancer. It's things like this that made me love the game, I just hope that Diablo3 is a true spiritual successor.

Diablo was my gateway into gaming. That was the game that showed me that games were not about saving princesses and fighting monkeys. But of hell, fire and brimstone. This, by far, was the deciding factor for me to partake in these things known as games. And hell, its pretty bloody brilliant!

Why do I love Diablo? Well, simply put, I don't. Reason being that I was never vry attracted to the franchise when they were in their hey-day, but now being a bit older, hopefully a little more mature, growing what now passes for facial hair and losing hair on the dome, I think I can say that this is definitely a story and game that is attracting me towards it. I do believe I will enjoy this a lot more and would love to give this a slash. See what I did there...

The most time I've ever spent in an RPG must have been in D1 with the Hellfire add-on. It was the first game ever that I would just log in and farm for gear without any progression being possible. D2 was also great, here's to hoping that Blizzard didn't screw up D3 by removing LAN and SP!

Diablo I & II was epic when I was a child. I remember going down the street to a mate's house on a Friday afternoon and leaving the Sunday night. We spent the entire time playing Diablo II.

Can't wait for III to make its appearance.

Who doesn't love blizzard games?

Edit

Thought that valid reason but Okay. My current fav bliz game is SC2. Reason i like Diablo is that i am not big on RPG type games but Diablo 2 open whole world of fun with friends. Probably only reason i played wow for a year.

Well even though I loved Diablo 2 and LoD I can't say I'm too familiar with the lore so it might be nice to delve a bit deeper into the universe before Diablo 3 arrives.
