Default Price comparisons for recent releases

    Recent release price comparison

And Mass Effect 3 pre-orders, too – where can you get the best deal?

Jeez this is handy. Thanks a lot for pointing this out. Will definitely be getting Mass Effect 3 from TAKEALOT.

I think we'll start doing this more often around big releases - always good to know where you can get the best deals

Not entirely sure why Incredible connection always gets left out of these articles.

Their pre order prices are also not bad add free delivery and a GUARANTEED copy that most other retailers dont offer. Ive gone ( wont mention names here ) to a gaming store to receive my pre orderd for Medal of Honor. I get to the store and was told they are out o stock due to a midnight launch. I told him ive paid my copy in full 3 months earlier how can i not have a game. HE told me to go to the Centurion store ( I was in Brooklyn at the time ) to sort it out.

I asked him to cal for stock and he said he is not my receptionist. I will not buy from them again.

IC uses the expensive delivery methods that gets your game to you before 11am on release day ( AAA titles only ) I got my Alice at 12 am. YOu also have the option to then go and fetch it in store and your copy will be there waiting for you.

Yes under games they have A bad name but they have changed quite a bit and is worth checking out.

Also you need to add the collectors and special editions so people know what they are buying.

Incredible Connection has the N7 mass effect 3 edition at the best price the last time i checked.

Its R50 more than the normal copy and you get A LOT MORE. any one that pre orders mass effect and doesn't get the N7 edition is wasting his time.

IC with Gaming inc is doing a lot for gamers. Gaming inc is a non profit so it is not their to make money. ITs run by the Services Dept to offer a service. They are not in competition with any one and ha posted articles/leagues/competitions of almost all other gaming sites.

Its like the G700 Logitech mouse special they have selling the mouse under cost . They sell advertising space to suppliers and instead of coining it they use that money to offer gaming products under cost. They have slacked last year with the specials and this year it will pick up again. They had a Hard drive special last year that was so silly that they sold 1000 units in 4 days. Their previous monitor special saw over 300 units sell in the week.

Give Credit when Credit is due. No i don't get anything for marketing them

Oh and the profit they made last year from marketing is being used to sponsor events this year. Their way is that everything that comes in from gaming goes back to gaming.

I don't go to Incredible Connection because I've wasted my time twice driving to their stores for sales just to find that they don't have the games advertised. It seems if one branch has 3 copies of a game available they advertise the game as being on sale when it's only on sale at a single branch.

Remember the Sale is done with stock on Hand. out of 62 stores not all of them will have copies. When the gaming Sales come around it will be exclusive to gaming Inc members at first and will be properly managed so that we know how much stock is on hand .

best thing to do is call the call center : 0800117000 and ask them to check stock. they quite efficient.

    otherwise try

gamingc [ at ] incredible.co.za to get responses.

I need some epic convincing from Incredible Connection as far as games are concerned. Every time I walk into a store, I am shocked at how their games are priced.
