Doesn't slysoft also have a DVD "shrink" tool?
Depending on what I want I also go with a mix of DVD Shrink and Handbrake.
I just use winavi and convert my dvds to avi format, then i use meedio media centre with the apple ipod like menu which allows you to use a cover of the dvd on the screen and voila i have my own local netflix
