Seems I am hearing more and more issues about BT lately. Just got off the phone with a bud and he got messed around with a pre-order and had to go into a store to try get it sorted out.

This is the same reason I moan about Blizzard. Take any great company, expand extensively, and all you are left with is a depersonalized system where a customer is just a number. They then end up being overworked then they start neglecting a portion of their customers. Also the advent of many staff members that could not give a crud about what they are doing.

Yea, I also had an issue with BT. When I pre-ordered Fallout3 Collectors for x360, they gave it to someone else!!!
So I went to look n listen and bought it there

Hope they do not do that with my Aion Collectors Edition... If they do, I will NEVER pre-order from them again and will certainly suggest likewise to others.

I will still buy from their physical shop, but only so far as it is more convenient than the other options.

Personally I have only had great service from BT games. All my games are basicly preorder online and then paid at and collected at their Brooklyn branch.

Of the other place I have used Taketwo has always been good. Used CD Universe(US) as well and they were great.

Have used kalahari but haven't for a while because the last time after I ordered it took them a week to inform me they can't get a item and have to cancel my order. I find it unacceptable to only get that info in a week.

Used Zaps once but unfortunately the game I wanted wasn't in stock with the supplier, they replied within 2 days informing me.

I used zaps online when wayne and rudi were there, not sure if they are still working there, haven't seen them around there so I assume they moved on. Guys in the back are actually quite awesome guys. I find [what I assume is] the owner isn't as cool to me. The guys are about the hardware and the games and of course to "the owner" it's a business.

Silliest thing about zaps is in store and online prices are hugely different. I may have annoyed them by doing this, but I used to go into the shop and check out whats just arrived, then using my cellphone place an order online to get it cheaper... then ask why I couldnt have it right away because it's just arrived...

(I used to work very close to them, so lunch time visits were often, but since I moved I don't use Zaps as much anymore).
    Wait... what?

Hhmm, I've never bought second-hand games, nor did it even cross my mind.

    Anyway, interesting topic.
