Did our first ops on Friday. We did enternity vault normal. Managed to kill the first 4 bosses, couldn't do SOA because one of our ops members d'c and couldn't reconnect.
Will be trying for SOA tonight again.
OPS on normal seems much easier then the hm's and since they also drop columi it seems a much easier/better way to gear if you have the numbers for it.
That is pretty good to hear! Just messing around in HM's at the moment and I have to say that Trooper/BH healing is not a joke at all. Single target healing may be excellent but AoE healing we are sorely lacking and just about any of the HMs we have tried so far have been rather fun with most of the group taking a lot of damage. I wish they would look at making Kolto Bomb a better AoE heal so that we also have a chance instead of letting Sages get it all...
Still need to look at the scoundrel healing, just been pvp'ing with him and no time for heals in there!
I must admit that the Trooper can do flippen amazing heals but when the group takes damage, well things go badly very quickly. 2 second cast to get in a heal is more than enough time for a boss to simply wipe out 14k hp...
How are the trash mobs in the ops ? We have found them rather inconsistent in the HM's we have tried so far. Some being easy and others actually being 10x worse than the boss in the next room.
They look tougher then they are. The ones in EV normal all had boss icons under their names but we killed them without much of a problem. Only our main tank died once but that was getting knocked of the ledge not from damage.
Only issue we currently really have with our ops is we are lacking a bit of range dps since most of our dps is jedi knight sentinels. We have a few dps sages and gun slingers coming up though so in time we will get it sorted.
I would be very keen joining up, ive just made the move from WoW, play a shaman/priest/druid, so the healing spot would be ideal. also was wondering if there anyway to get the patches on a dvd from someone, cant afford to download the entire 18gb or w/e patches through 3G D:
