And subsequently got screwed by their customers, proving once and for all that a large portion of "gamers" dont give a toss about developers & that all that talk of "Empower the Legit Customer instead of penalizing them" & "Make a great game & we will buy it" is exactly that talk, nothing more.
Out of all the DRM systems they could have used Steam is the best choice. They could have pulled a Ubisoft or distributed it via Origin.
Yeah Steam is the best out of them. I just miss the good old days when Internet was never a requirement to play games.

Well the thing is Steam doesn't equal DRM, DRM is part of Steam but that's only one aspect.
It's about providing value rather than just clamping your testicles in a vice for the sake of profits.
