    This could be a clue that D3 is about to go gold. Studios often cut jobs right after a big project is completed.

    Yup. Probably getting rid of the overhead of testers and general QA staff.

    Doesn't look good for rep. They're just covering their ass after seeing all their WOW players migrating. Maybe Guild Wars 2 is causing some worry?

    Doubt it. Most AAA games can have anywhere up to a thousand people working on it before release, a work force the company can't maintain post release. Once the product is finished they move on. Its normally in their contract that employment isn't guaranteed post release.

    Seems like they axing 200 GM's and other admin staff from their EU HQ in Ireland.

    1 Month wait for ticket replies here we come :P
