I immediately put this link up as soon as I saw it. Not 5 minutes later when I tried to view it again, it gave me the same problem. Here is the thread where I found the link.

@1920*1200 the gtx 680 - 79 fps and the hd 7970 - 68 fps. This was on an average of 6 games including Hawx 2, Skryrim, Crysis 2, Dirt 3, BF 3 and WoW. This is according to tom's hardware but that chart has been removed.

There is a reason they keep removing it, because its either not valid or the nda hasn't been lifted.
Just relax and wait for them to post actual benchmarks through well known site ie Guru3D, hardwarekanucs ect.

Is this going to become a trend where nvidia(or AMD) launches a card for $500 and call it mid-range. I know nvidia is expensive but I really can't see someone paying $500 for a mid-range card? I sure as hell can't afford $500 for a card.

Its not a mid range card, its the card that replaces the GTX580, lets get that out the way and then yes who in their right minds prices a mid range card at $550 lol I am buying one on release, I wanna see how it compares to my 7970's, I know its gonna be close with both cards winning some and losing others, its def not gonna be a massive difference. Also AMD are likely to cut the price of the 7970 down to around $425, which means it still under cuts the 680.

It's just that sites referred to gk104 as nvidia's mid range and I think gk110 was suppose to be high-end. That was before it got named gtx 680. If there is a price cut on the hd 7970 will that not start a chain reaction of price cuts on lower cards in the range. Would that end up affecting the hd 7850 price as well?

The following was picked up from Techpower up about 10min ago and gives an idea what can be expected.
Still no proper benchmarks though but a good read.

    That's just Nvidia Trolling.
Most likely the prices of the 7xxx will drop, by how much no one knows but i know they will.
Remember the 7970 has been out for more than 3 months...so AMD have already sold plenty of them..they won't have a problem dropping the price.
