Also AMD are likely to cut the price of the 7970 down to around $425, which means it still under cuts the 680.
It's just that sites referred to gk104 as nvidia's mid range and I think gk110 was suppose to be high-end. That was before it got named gtx 680. If there is a price cut on the hd 7970 will that not start a chain reaction of price cuts on lower cards in the range. Would that end up affecting the hd 7850 price as well?
