R6000 - R7000 prebuilt PC

Hi there

My dad's PC was recently struck by lightning and the insurance will pay out R6000 towards a new one. He is willing to spend an extra R1000 - R2000 on a prebuilt box in the medium range of performance. Any suggestions of where and/or what to get? I'm not going to buy individual components and build (even though I'm able to), but would prefer the convenience of a prebuilt box with warranties, software, etc. included for him.

I'm in Johannesburg, and the insurance company has actually approved R6000, so we're into the range of R7000 - R8000.

Yep I'm actually starting to wonder if I shouldn't unplug some of the TV's and PC's from their surge protecters....
