But still its making Money, so why wouldn't other publishers latch onto the idea? its a case off "if it works for them why wont it for us?"

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! hope they dont implement this, I dont mind paying once off for a game and getting a few paid DLC for it everynow and then but i certainly dont want to pay to play a game every month. I havent even been able to afford the 1st karkand DLC pack imagine needing to pay for it monthly

If it's optional like elite is then I can't think why anyone would or even could whine about it.

If its optional I don't really care if they force it upon players they can get fucked.

I love how in the build up to BF3 release EA played up the MW/BF rivalry so heavily then a few months later the real truth comes out, they actually want to be MW.

I still find it interesting that CoD Elite isn't on PC.

I think if the price is nominal and the initial price of the game itself is cheap then it can work.

It can't work, There are tons of expansions for BF3 alone, in the next couple of months there will be 5 I think and each one is sold seperatly, so although the game was cheap to begin with, if you add the cost of the up and coming expansions, you're soon looking at well over R1000 and that's already quite a lot of money.

Like I said, If its optional they can go right ahead, but if they force it on players they'll end up losing thousands of players.

Ya, I for one will not pay a monthly sub to play a game. Im just thinking of all the WoW players and how that model works, Im sure they've paid for that game 10 fold by now. Dumbies
