I know I've been pretty vocal about the bad ending and all, but just to be clear... I didn't file this claim. Graal maybe?
My first instinct when seeing this article was "Darn, ok... going a bit overboard now"... but after having a quick look at the thread on the Bioware forum... I don't think he's wrong. I'm not sure how far he'll get as I'm not sure that things said on forums and interviews is seen as formal advertising, but they did lie to everyone and the complaint does have merit.
If he somehow do succeed and manages to piss off EA in the process, more power to him.
Nah, filing a complaint is going a bit far, imo.
Still, I'm interested to see where this leads, if it leads anywhere.
Having just experienced the ending for myself I honestly don't get what all the fuss is about. But hey.
I really can't understand why there's such a big fuss over an ending? I mean sometimes you get good endings and sometimes you get bad endings - but that's how it works, not everything ends well. The fact that so many people are making a big deal out of it is making me even more jealous of all those that already own the game, but I'm sure the ending won't stop me from liking a series of Mass Effect's stature.

Once again, you'd have to read all the reasons why people are pissed with it to understand, and that would require reading spoilers.
It's not just a case of 'I don't like the ending', it goes way beyond just not liking the story.
