Or does that fall under the piracy section?
While this won't work for an external HDD, you can absolutely do this with the regular Xbox 360, as long as your friend has their console hooked up to LIVE. Signing your profile in will transfer the game licence to that console, allowing you to play it there instead. When you reattach it to your own Xbox, it transfers the licence back.

And before you ask, no - copying the game file to your friend's MU won't let them get the game for free. They'll only be able to play while your profile is present on the system. As soon as it's gone, the file will change to a trial version.

Ok so its basically like Steam, where only one person can log on at that time to play that game?

Er, kind of. Of course, lots of downloadable content allows for local multiplayer, unlike Steam. So, for example, Worms 2 Armageddon - if you take this on a hard drive to a friend's place and hook it up to their Xbox, you and your friend (and two others, yay) can play the game as long as your profile is present on the system. But as I've already said, your friend's Xbox must be LIVE-enabled and online for this to work.

Ah ok I see. Well I dont think i'll be taking anything anywhere, so everything will prob stay on my console.

Augh bloody Take2!!!! It said there ships in 1 working day. I emailed the guy after the deal had been made and he said no its takes 1-4 days. If I didn't hate incredible connection so much I would have told him to cancel my order, and refund me so that I can go and buy it myself.

Ok guys, Xbox has delivered and i'm all set up.

I downloaded updates for 2 hours and now my console is ready to run!!!

Only problem. I cant sign into LIVE since on www.xbox.com it says my gamertag is in South Africa. How do I change it to UK since there is no option to change the location directly?

I'm assuming by changing it to UK I can have full access to download LIVE games?

The easiest way is to create a Hotmail account, select the UK as your region, and associate this address with your Xbox Gamertag.
