If its done properly, with the original feeling and dark graphics it would sell incredibly well.
Just because there are thousands of "shoot the shit out of anything kiddies" around the world doesn't mean that a gritty survival horror like the resident evil's of old won't sell, In fact I reckon it'll do really well if its done properly.
