The Premium maps will really need to be impressive to persuade gamers to fork out extra money for it. I've always been happy in the past with standard and free add-ons. Sure, this is a new approach to gaming, but I believe it may need some time to catch on.
I would asume most "premium" maps would have some sort of Trial mode, or time limited map to attract potential buyers. And surely the traditional method of downloading user created content and just opening up the Editor and modifying the maps is gone :P
