Default iDig Tekkit Server ( Minecraft )

Hi Guys, I'm hosting a local VPS Tekkit server.

In summary, Tekkit is Minecraft with several major and minor mods combined (impressive!). Namely Industrial Craft, Redpower, Buildcraft and Equivalent Exchange. The latter is mostly disabled* on this particular server.

The game is downloaded through a launcher available from http://www.technicpack.net/tekkit/

Just some quick instructions on getting started with the launcher.

    1) Once downloaded, run the launcher and wait for the contents of the pack to download. Less than 100mb.
    2) When the launcher interface presents itself, select Tekkit from the drop down selection.
    3) Before logging in, make sure that you're running the 'recommened build' of 2.1.1 by click the OPTIONS button.
    4) Type in your Username and Password and log in.
    5) Select Multiplayer and add the server IP - 41.76.212.223

The server is grey-listed.This will allow you to actually join the server without being white-listed first. Once in game I can assign member privileges which will allow you to make use of the all the commands, build etc.

I'm looking to grow the community, I'm particularly interested in finding mature candidates to administer and moderate the server in the short to medium term.

*Equivalent Exchange is fun at first, but that 'fun' soon ruins the experience. Very many Tekkit servers completely disable 'EE' we've only partially disabled it. In addition all the items capable of wreaking havoc have been disabled to prevent griefing.

EE is very bad for multiplayer.. I played my very first proper non-cheating game last night, got up to making my first quarry. Dang making diamonds is a time consuming exercise.

I am also looking for a team based server.

That's where the Towny plugin comes into play - http://code.google.com/a/eclipselabs...owny/wiki/Main
