I doubt MS would go to such extremes to market the Xbox 360. I think they'll rely solely on the price reduction and the changeover coming with the Pro being taken out of the loop.

It would be great if they slimmed it down a bit but not that much, from the picture it looks more like a wii than and xbox....

That's just a mock-up of it, that someone on the intertron did. They used the same thing for the PS3 Slim.

I don't know if the Xbox really needs it...the Xbox shape is quite iconic and synonymous with the 360. Changing it to the point of losing the design would be rather unfortunate I think.

But only difference was most ppl were spot on with there "artist" rendition of it. That one looks abit meh to me...

They did nothing of the sort with the first Xbox. Sony has been releasing slimmed versions since the fist PS. I don't think MS will do the same, but a smaller xbox could be very nice.

Doesn't really matter to me. A Xbox is a Xbox. Already got one, but it would be cool, just to p!ss off those bitches at Sony haha.

unlike the 360 which have components which ms are the rights holders to they couldnt make a smaller xbox 1 cause ms never had the rights to the components, intel owned the rights to the cpu in the xbox thus ms had to pay them if the wanted a smaller version, nvidia had the rights to the gpu again ms would have had to pay them to shrink it for them, the xbox 1 also had a short lifespan so ms had no reason to shrink it as it was already working on the 360 less than a year after the launch of the original xbox ! why shrink something when they were already working on its successo.

The xbox 360 slim is going to happen, remember ms already filed the papers for the valhalla design which means valhalla 360's will have a combined cpu/gpu and thus they can make the mobo of the 360's alot smaller, smaller mobo = possibility of a smaller console
