I am still not convinced that this gadget is all that great. At this stage there just are no games that really interest me that use it.

I'm pretty sure it will one day be used as an integral part in a "minority report" type of computer system...

Well METRO Ui i am sure will take full advantage of this so theres that, forget touchscreen and kinect will do a great job ;-)

Also theres a chance (if it isn't out) that exisitng Kinect can be ported to work so save alot of moola.

They claim the games subsidise the pricing but they fail to mention that games will also be released for it later on and should that not subsidise it aswell including the apps ?? Maybe am missing something lol.

Great to hear its coming to our shores though

The device and technology itself is awesome. There are people who are doing some amazing things with it, like the University students who built it into an eco-home to monitor user gestures to adjust appliances and lighting.

As for how it is being used and the software that accompanies it, I am not a huge fan.
    That's what she said.
