EA wants Minecraft on Origin, thinks Notch “needs help”

Suggests a mod-manager, doesn’t think Notch can do it

Why? You can quickly and easily download it from the Minecraft website and soon XBLA. So why should Mojang chuck some of their profits away by needing to pay a distributor?

I completely agree with that comment.

They shouldn't have to waste money on a system they have set up perfectly and next thing you know EA will claim royalties or some crap like that because they gave Mojang the idea of distributing via Origin. I say fsck that, let Mojang run their business successfully the way they have been.

Oh no he didn't!!! Teh burn.

Anyway, not sure how Minecraft being on Origin would help with mods, most of the games on Origin don't even auto-update never mind some kind of mod manager integration.
