Red face Looking for the Best Story based RPG's

    Hey Guys,

So recently I seem to have dried up my well of epic story based RPG games, so right now
I'm looking for any RPG games on the computer with epic stories .
Examples of games I am willing to play range between any new to any old game, provided it is an RPG of some sort.

Some examples of some Games I really liked.
    Dragon Age Origins
    Mass Effect series
    Baldur's Gates
    Arcanum
Fallout series (All of them 1-New Vegas)
    Planescape Torment

So yeah, I'm open to any suggestions, and with that
What is a RPG type game that you thought had the best Story?

Planescape torment has to be one of my fav rpg story.

The witcher games have an awesome story and is a great rpg series if you haven't played them yet I would say do so.

If you don't mind the graphics then Spiderweb Software apparently makes the RPGs with the best and most in depth stories:

The games are available on Steam too.

If you don't mind scifi RPGs then I don't see the Mass Effect trilogy in your list! It's absolutely amazing.

    Thumbs up

Thanks for the replies so far guys,
I've finished Witcher 1 though the first one irked me a little with it's bugs and spiky lag streaks, so that has been delaying my play-through on Witcher 2 (I've started but barely sunk into it properly), though I think I just might do that after some of these comments.

    Mass Effect is amazing!

I've also briefly looked into some of the Spiderweb games before, though I had thought that very people actually played it, but seeing this comment has given me confidence that it may actually be worth looking into , so I have noted them down and I will likely make an effort to purchase these if I see them for on a steam sale or something similar .

If there are any more RPG-like games with a Great-to-Epic Story, Please continue letting me know and I will absolutely check it out !

Any ff fan would boast 7 despite its blocky graphics, when you say aeries anybody who is a fan would either shed a tear or be mad they got so close to getting with her.
