Yep my wireless Microsoft X8 mouse has taken the lead as my favorite mouse ever. It has insane battery life and there is zero input lag to speak of. Now if only all my peripherals were wireless.

My principle is, if you have to move it around, it must be wireless. I bought a G7 wireless gaming mouse in 2004, it still lives, just the left click button is a little worn out and has been relegated to the lounge for HTPC control. I've since bought the new model, the G700. Brilliant mouse and it didn't cost over a grand, less than R900 actually. I hate to be restricted by a cord.

My next purchase would be to replace my Roccat Kave headset. Great headset, but I probably had to untangle the cord a 1000 times now. Also frustrating when just need to switch on fan, or close the door just out reach of the cord's length. I'll be replacing it with the Logitech G930 soon. My G15 keyboard is wired, but I don't move the keyboard around constantly, so that doesn't bug me.

Wireless tech has really gone up since I had my crappy wireless mouse 7 years ago. Back then the mouse losing site of the receiver meant it simply lost connection. Now I'm using a wireless 360 controller for PC, and if I'm lying in bed I don't even have to hold it above the covers for it to work.

That headset stand for the Seinheisser looks super classy. Anyone have any idea where I can pick up a headset stand like that?

Mouse cable drag can be sorted out by getting a proper mouse pad. Simple as that.
Don't spend R1000 on a RAT 9 when a RAT 7 can be had for R300 less and it is the exact same mouse excelt for the wireless part.
