I have found many easter eggs in games (this is before I had an internet connection)

Dark forces 2 don't remember the level but you could find max(sam and max but I might be getting the names mixed up its the bunny) in a little house he runs around

Duke3d you can find doom space marine, Indiana Johns,Quake gets mentioned,Terminater, reference to the simpsons and alien,Find these crazy woman doing some ritual lol.

Unreal 2 You can find a moving cube of the developers photos.

Warcraft 3 you can find a hydrolysk(or how ever you spell it) at the edge of a map.
And if you poke the sheep or any critters to much the blow up lol.
