Default Boardgaming Day - Brightwater Commons, 29th April

So, an acquaintance and I have the go ahead to have a boardgaming day at Brightwater Commons, at the Pavilion.

We've got the support of one of the boardgaming shops, who'll be there to demo a selection of their own games, and we'll possibly also have draws and prizes to give away. Some friends and I will be there running games we own.

What we need, though, is an idea of how many people are interested and can make it.

To give an idea of what games may be there, the games friends and I may bring:

    Chaos in the Old World
    Dust Tactics
    Elder Sign
    Arkham Horror
    Dreadfleet

SkyCastle will naturally have their own plethora of games available to demo (and to buy, if you has moniez)

I'm also encouraging any of those who own boardgames, whichever they may be, to bring and run them as well!

So... is there any interest floating around these parts?
    Warg!

Hah, I've played the iOS version, took a bit to understand, but we managed to actually beat it. The physical boardgame is considerably more clear, and I do personally enjoy it more.

Rolling the dice yourself is massively preferable to the game rolling it for you :P

The game in itself is now not that confusing, it's just technical and yes I would much prefer to roll the dice myself. It pisses me off when I flip the pages after discarding one of the relics and I still don't get the result I need.

It's an interesting study in perception - how one feels like the game cheated them if the game rolls the dice, but one feels like they failed themselves if they rolled the dice.

It also does make a lot more sense, and it's easier to percieve when everything is on the table.

    EDIT

Bloody hell. Just confirmed the ACTUAL date- 6th of may, the first Sunday of the month.
