Agree with the graphics, just the same as ME2 for me, but luckily ME2's graphics was pretty cool, but in that first mission the running animations is bad.
But I enjoyed the game up untill the last mission which was just... bleh.
So if I close my eyes to the ending I would say was a good game... Gameplay wise.

I would rather rate a PC game high in which effort was actually put into the PC version of the game........
For me, Mass Effect has always been around the story. As long as that was fine, the other elements came secondary. The graphics needed to be decent of course (which it was), but didn't have to be over the top.
The one button fits all does get a bit frustrating... causes me to die in a lot of situations because a lot of the times, it does the opposite of what is intended. Especially in the heat of a firefight.
As far as the "formula" being the same... build a team, choose one or two team members and go fight... I'm fine with that. That is what we got in ME1 and ME2 and is what I expected in ME3.
No guts, no glory, no brain, same story.
Look at Alan Wake as an example of a port done right. Extra content and improved graphics. L.A. Noire was not done right. The extra content was there for sure but the graphics was definately not optimised. BF3 is also pretty good.
I reall really hope Rockstar gets it right with the new GTA. I see you can preorder the Xbox/PS3 games only. Not sure if this is good or bad.
Bad in that they obviously are making the game upfront for consoles again and good that at least it seems they will take their time in porting it.
My experience has told me that normally when console and PC is release same date one will suffer. (except BF3 of course)
