    Fortunately I still have until early next year to save for the cheapest version of win7 which will work for me.

    I saw the VitalityMall run a nice special on a HP laptop, for R4500 or something like that. You need to be part of Discovery Medical Aid and have the Vitality benefit, to make use of this special though.

    I prefer my DELL laptops still - They have never failed me, the price is great and the support even better!

    I did look at some cheaper DELL lappies, but they didn't have webcams.

    Well, my brother will also probably end up using it and he is keen on the idea of it having a webcam.

    for what you getting it's a damn good price
    DELL is great if you can afford the price tag that comes along with it...
