Default Star Wars: The Old Republic PC Games Walkthrough - GC 2009

When I saw this, I couldn't help but think what an amazing game this is going to be... It has loads of promise!

Check it out... there are 4 trailers, they auto-play one after another. I posted the seperate links below too, just in case.

They cover the Bounty Hunter, Smuggler and Sith Lord.

    ORSM!

I've been pulling the trailers and spoilers as they emerge - including dev talks etc. I really cannot wait for this game.

Could someone please tell me why everyone is so hyped about it? I'm confused.

Is it going to be a sandbox game with rich crafting and a huge world to explore and immerse oneself in, or will it be linear? It doesn't appear to by anything groundbreaking at first glance. It seems very "OMG STAR WARZ!!!!111" and that's about it =S

Hopefully I'm missing something as I'd love to try it otherwise. Whilst WoW may be very linear, it fills that void leaving little space for yet more such games in my life.

    Mah cap Haha.

Nah in all honesty they just take so long to load on this line that has been an epic fail lately.

But I'll let them run while I'm watching TV or something.

WoW has no storyline. There isnt a single quest in wow that you're forced to do. In fact you don't even have to do ANY quests to get to lvl 80 or get gear.

SW:TOR is very char-storyline oriented where your choices you make while leveling directly impacts your character and is irreversible.

I'd prefer an MMO with a strong single player side to it. Plus I think you really need to be a fan of the knights of the old republic era (set 4000 years pre-galactic empire era) which just has so much more depth in it. Playing kotor 1 and 2 was probably my most favourite RPG experience to date.
