Well now that it has been brought up, I'm glad that this article has been mentioned. I was actually contemplating on buying a new PS3 for myself and start racking up another collection. I bought an Xbox a few weeks ago to supplement my PS3 gaming and it's turning out to be money well spent. I picked up over a dozen classics/exclusives for around R100 each, and along with the 250gb slim console it all cost me less than R4k.
Not a bad bargain considering there's still a few years left in the 360 yet.
Well, my brother asked me if he should get a console or a new PC. I'm leaning towards a console, because its a lot more relaxed way to game. The only issue then is his love for RTS games.

Honestly if you waiting for the next gen console i would say no dont buy now, but the end of life of the current gen console is also the best years in console gaming. As the developers squeeze every single bit of power the console has left and bring us amazing games as well and some memoriable titles.
Yes my opinion is a conflict one, but honestly if i didnt own one i would still buy one... cause there is enough games to play if you a new entrant in the market and for those of us still here there are many more titles to come.
