Stalker 2 left to fend for itself in the abandonware wastes as developer GSC is forced to shut down

A Sad day indeed. Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl remains one of my all time favourite games. Hopefully somewhere down the line another studio can get their hands on the IP and bring it back.
