Yeah, killing from a distance is def what the wizard is all about. With Arcon being so OP I might just stop using it until the game gets harder.
I found this early, playing Solo and Playing co-op I use completely different builds.
I had that through most of Act 3 with the Barb, I would just see chaos on screen with my barb occasionally whirling around.
Blizzard made D3 very casual friendly as such elective is hidden away to stop noobs from building shitty characters until they have learned to use the chars.
Does anyone, who plays solo, use the followers? My Solo char has only had followers during the scripted sections.
But, but, Isengard we have mentioned it a FEW times on TS :P
But you lot have the armour and health - hence you get the front lines :P Go have a play on their build site, so much fun to figure out what to do with the spells.
I used the Templar follower throughout normal and he wasn't bad, not much dps but at least he served to distract some mobs and give me a bit of hp regen.
Same here, I do the dying and get slightly to excited when one of the others dont make it :P
But they tend to protect me as well since I am VERY squishy compared to them.
I actually havent played the wizard in solo mode - I have my monk for solo and the wizard is my co-op char.
Didn't that make it incredibly easy?
I think when we get to nightmare I might bring my Wizard into CO-OP but she feels entirely too OP and a Wizard Witch Dr would be too spammy. At least as a Barb I can distract the mobs and drop Earth Quake when it gets hairy.
Not really, was playing a barb so I couldn't just kill everything before it got to me like you Wizards. The difference is pretty minimal, I mostly just brought him along for the flavour dialogue.
