I am of the same opinion, there are always server issues with online functionality. I think most people are jumping up and down on their soap box since alot of them feel they "told them so" regarding the always online requirement. 2 million people logged into the Open BETA and that broke the beta servers, we can only imagine Blizzard took that into account and then tried to make sure the other servers could handle this kind of surge, from that I would deduce that that between 3 - 6 Million (this is speculation as the numbers haven't been released yet.) tried logging in and this is what caused the server melt down. Blizzard then just got the EU servers up as the US servers went live, again massive surge made the US servers fall over & what did all the gamers do? CHanged region to EU, causing the EU servers to fall over yet again. Also considering how fast they managed to get it back up allowing a significant number of people to play.

As for the always on internet, Im not going to go into that again, I have in the past voiced my opinion (short version I dont mind it, yes even when I can't play the game i've waited along time for.)
