    Default Who remembers SHAREWARE CD's!

I remember waking up early on Saturday morning's like 5am, sneaking quietly down the passage so not to wake my dad and finally reaching the study! Success! Now to play some games before K-TV starts!

Booting up the brand new Pentium 90, the spiffy one with the TURBO button oh my g*d!
I pop one of these in:

Ready to roll with the soundblaster pro, and 2 CD's full of shareware!

I spent as much time as possible on that Pentium 90! Playing the demo's of Doom, Heretic, Hexen, WarCraft 1.
My dad being a Golf'ing fanatic we would often play endless amounts of Links LS 1998!

I have some good memories of shareware games, thats what got me started on PC games, caught hook, line and sinker.

Saturday flea market at Sunnypark. Some guy with a folder full of floppy disks with shareware galore. There was stiffy disks as well, but I couldn't afford the cost of that upgrade yet.
