I've always been a big gamer but in my younger years I never really got into lanning and all that, don't know why.
Anyway my cousin invited me and some other friends to play in this Counter-Striker tournament that he heard about somewhere, so off we went, thinking that we would probably finish dead last but knowing that we were gonna have a really good time.
So to make a long story short, we registered our teamname as Cow and Chicken, with my nick being Cousin Boneless. In our first game (bearing in mind that I have never played CS before) I was last man standing in one of the rounds with 3 opponents left. I thought I might as well have some fun so I unholstered the Desert Eagle and proceeded to headshot 2 of the guys. The best was sitting in the same room as the opposing team and hearing the guys saying "pasop daai ou met die desert eagle is flippin goed". Ha ha if only they knew the amount of luck that went into those two shots.
I eventually got shot because the last guy was camping like a scared little girl but that was one of my most memorable moments and needless to say it lead to many more lans.
Lol counter strike is a really great game to lan with friends or just to play online. My first lan experience was counter strike. And i had no idea how to play it as good as the other guys but after a few rounds i got the hang of it and it was really great fun
