BUT! Do you remember there was another game show, YEARS ago, where a kid sat in his moms basement and reviewed games. Cant remember the name, it showed on KTV (if KTV even existed at that stage...). He used to review the old 8bit consoles etc etc. I remember he always wore flannel shirts....

THE POWER TEAM! with Johnny Arcade that did the game reviews somewhere in the middle of the cartoon



We used to get up at 7am on a Saturday morning to watch it ^_^

Yes! I'm pretty sure it was Playr! Thanks, that would've driven me crazy The format did kinda suck and I knew a bit more about games than the people on the show did, but it was the only one on tv that I watched at the time, so I just continued watching
