    This may seem a stupid question, but are there local servers for Battlefield 3?

    I'm thinking of getting it but don't want to be plagued by horrible online lag

    Yes there are many servers.

    iGame
    Mweb
    Webafrica
    Clan

    Should be lots of info in the Battlefield 3 thread.

    there a few a posted above, just configure your server settings and refresh...or that's what i do
