The fact that there is a space sim that allows you to do pretty much whatever your heart desires in a universe with more things to discover than most RPGs today, and connected to a sci-fi story that is nearly unparalelled in most games, and I suddenly realize that I never should have stopped playing Freelancer.

128-player-capable LANs where me and as many of my friends as I could organize form raid parties and sweep the Omega systems for Nomads, in search of the ever-elusive Titan, which could only be bought from the Outcasts... Duelling Rheinland battleships for the destiny of the entire galaxy... Discovering OPERATION DIAMONDBACK weapons in wreckage in a distant asteroid field...

Honestly, Freelancer is still one of my all-time favourite games. Wish Microsoft would release a sequel
