This game absolutely killed. I remember playing this game as every class just to see how things would change; and to a certain extent, get a "behind the scenes" look at how something that influenced your previous game can change based on your class (f.e. the endings).
I loved how you could string spells together as a Wizard, how you could summon creatures to help you fight as a Conjurer, and last (but not least) fight with brutal strength as a Warrior, pulling enemies closer with your harpoon.
The different ways you had to battle for every class and how your surroundings could affect how you would fight (for instance the swamp with all the deadly surroundings or areas where no mana crystals were present) made the game one of the best games I played growing up.
What made the game even better was that you could play it with your friends. I remember going home ASAP from school just to play Nox with all my friends. Nox brings back great memories where it kept my friends and I indoors for entire weekends.
Does anyone remember how the better the resolution the further you could see? I remember how my friends could always kill me before I could see them because of my crappy CRT (I also blame the PC I had).
P.S. How much did the the Staff of Oblivion PWN? Way too much!
