You will NEVER have a sustainable income playing D3. Sure you could make the odd bit of money towards another game but your never going to be playing Diablo instead of working as that would no longer be play, it would be a job that you will very quickly come to hate and will bring in less than a minimum wage job.
I still want to see exactly how many idiots out there are actually going to spend real world $$$ on virtual shit.
The reworked Skill system is alot more flexible compared to the old clunky system. Bliz have made it harder for the copious amounts of idiots out there to irreparably fuck up their char builds due to not knowing the system. The old system required the player to make a important decision without any prior knowledge as to how the skill plays or fits into the greater scheme of things in your character build. Which led to the internet being quickly filled with cookie cutter builds that everyone copied to make sure the build was "optimal". This system allows me to test a skill and if its shit I can not use it for several levels without having to worry that I wasted a valuable skill point on a now useless skill.
Even adding the ability to respec at a moderate gold cost does not fix this issue. While Kingdoms of Amalur is in no way as well balanced as Diablo 2 & 3 it still had a very good skill system, a system that was easily exploitable leading to completely over powered character that removed any challenge from the game.
