Personally I don't think RTS would be a good option for Aliens, it wouldn't be at all immersive or scary like a FPS which is a major part of the Aliens franchise.

Hopefully they don't delay it any further even though I'd rather have a delayed game than a crap game, so it better be good with such a long delay.
