    Default Windows 7 BETA conundrum

    Here is my problem:

Bright fellow that I am, I neglected to write the version of the Windows 7 Beta I downloaded on the disc to which I burned it.

I need to know whether what I have on the disc is the 32 or 64 bit version.

Do you know of any way I might find out what version I have without installing it?

    Thank you

One would have thought MS would have made it a little more obvious, but the company which brought us "Are you sure you really, really, really want to delete this" and the oversimplified control panel didn't do it.

Run a vmware machine and start the installation. Should tell you at some point.
Dib: You can't make me look! I'll just shut my eyes.
Zim: Oh, you'll open them. You have to breath sometime.
Dib: No, I - Wait... What do eyes have to do with breathing?

VMware server is a free virtual machine creator. Download it, install and you can make a virtual windows 7 machine.

Although... won't it tell you if you just put the copy in?

Nope, I put my copy in yesterday and it won't tell me whether it is a 32 or 64 bit version.

    Thank you for the help.
