No denying pay-to-win? It would be good to see what a decent AA title from a company with some pedigree can achieve with free-to-play from the get go. I'm somewhat sceptical that it would produce better results in terms of market share than titles such as COD and BF. However I would love to be proven wrong if its free-to-play and not pay-to-win.

I hate the majority of F2P games, so colour me unimpressed and not at all excited.

You probably hate the majority of pay to play games as well you just never bought them to try.

The thing is just that from my experience, the majority of F2P games devolve into either Pay4fun or Pay2win. The only time I play F2P games is when I'm planning on spending money on them.

ugh. Don't want this farmville business model inspired crap. Too many psychologists at work rigging the stuff to be addictive instead of fun.

I much preferred the old business model of pay full price & Finish & klaar. Now its DLC this pre-order that...or even worse, microtransactions & subscriptions.

That means AAA, multi-million dollar games on a $0 gaming budget for consumers.
Not sure if sarcastic or naive...
