Ur aim being off u can compensate for. Not being able to glide.... Or fire ur weapon. Game breaking. I think its Awesome. Another World Record for Batman AA. Most Innovative Anti-Piracy measure in a Video game.
I found this method of copy protection quite amusing, but as with all copy protections, they get broken. This particular one was broken two days after the D2D release which fixes the save, glide and kick glide functions therefore making the game playable.
That being said I still believe that it was a very creative and fun way to copy protect the game and I'm sure Eidos have had a good laugh at all the idiots posting in their troubleshooting forum.

I wonder how they fixed it. I mean you literally have to go into the actual code of the game and find the command that disables those functions.
Not necessarily. Essentially you need to be able to trick the copy protection into thinking you have the original disc in the drive, that's all the crack is. There is no need to go and reprogram the game.
