Prince of Persia is cool. If you don't like it, you're not cool![]()
well technically i never bought this game but Extermination for the PS2 was total rubbish. i have a penchant to play a horrible game finished (Boogerman on Sega i cringe at the thought nut i bought the cartridge please don't shoot me) but extermination just wasn't... i'm at a loss for words on how crap this game is
Farcry 2 and COD waw![]()
I enjoyed Prince of Persia. Yes it was different from The Sands of Time Trilogy but thats the whole idea, something different and new. The art style was brilliant and the story emotionally involving. This is one of the main reasons they made the game easier, so that everyone could play through it and experience the story. Where as in POP 1 - 3 you could easily get stuck and then the story just stops which put of alot of casual player. For me Sands of Time Trilogy is still one of the best platform games ive ever played but i wouldn't say the new one is a waste, just an quired taste.
I enjoy the sandbox of Farcry 2, I lost interest in the storyline/over progression of the game... and ended up exploring everywhere
Latest game I bought and wasted money on was Too Human...the non-existent aiming system for the guns really destroyed it for me (since guns are practically half the choices you get when choosing a character)

For me Farcry was A Far Cry from what it could have been. The rapir respawn of enemies. The "i can see you from 3km away in the dark" AI and general lack of inovation in the world design. Don't know about you but the entire world felt like a bunch of inter connected roads covered on all sides with in passable mountains.
Yeah Farcry 2 was what I like to think of as an EPIC failure. It got so monotonous and boring, the same thing over and over and over and over.....Not to mention how bad the AI was, and that you could snipe them all from about 10 Km's away. The driving also got insane, constantly driving up and down. No depth what so ever. Very disappointing.
COD waw was just as disappointing....The single player was in all fairness good, it was entertaining and helped pass the time, but the MP is just [email protected]. It's slow, unpolished and just down right awful. Coming from COD4 to WAW felt like a HUGE step backwards.
I just hope that MW2 does not fail us.
