Beta Trolls... General chat doomsday prophets

One thing I don't get is why someone would take the time and effort to just nay say/troll the general chat of a bwe. Ok maybe it is less effort to get the client with fast interwebz, but we all know how long it takes here in ZA normally.

Still geez, wtf.

You can see this happen in the first bwe or when they get more accessible. Sometimes it is funny to lol at them, but it does get old after a while. Especially if it goes in the reason of wow clone, wow first or just plain negative spamming.

Meh. I just then close general chat, at times I do however if it still is useful.

I think that bwes should be on a more stricter invite with the notion that your are there knowing it is a beta and part of an actual testing group and not thinking it is a demo for your leisure.

There will always be trolls, this is a fact of life! The Sun is a troll even!

As for the general chat trolls, they dont just do it for betas, full release games get it as well, even alpha version games that have gone public (DayZ) get trolled like hell sometimes... Unfortunately it is the mentality of some people these days... a public/invite only beta is just that... a BETA! Not a demo like they seem to think, not a pre release copy, it is what the devs have so far and they want their eventual player base to comment on it and provide feedback in order to better the game.

It doesnt matter how exclusive or guarded beta accesss is, there will always be trolls there to put it down... Just like waking up on a Saturday morning... the sun will always be there to cast fire into your poor unsuspecting eyes.

I like that they made the beta accessible for people who pre-purchased it. But now because they paid for it some of the idiots think it's the final product. they don't understand it's still in beta and that the purpose of beta is to improve it so that the final product will be amazing

I miss the days where you had to be smart to be online nm operating your own pc... lol...
