Should I get Red Faction Guerrilla?
So i have my have my Xbox back and after playing the Demo of Red Faction i want more. Ive read like 5 reviews and their all saying the same thing, fun but not fun that gets old. Mercenaries got old for me too quickly so i have my reservations about another game that focuses so closely on blowing stuff up. Anybody who's played the full game give me your opinion of it.

It's really not that bad, yes it can get repetitive after a while, but it's fun breaking down entire buildings with a sledgehammer. Single-player is fairly average, not that great, but not bad either. There are some interesting and fun side-missions. Multiplayer, on the other hand, is pretty awesome, especially the split-screen offline "hotseat" mode. It's entertaining seeing who can do the most damage to buildings in a minute. Online play is pretty sweet too.
Ive checked the player reviews at Gamespot and only 2 people gave it less than 7. So i think im going to pick me up a copu.
Waste of money IMHO.
Save your ammo and buy one of October's many awesome titles.
I re-read your Review but its calling my name. I will get a pre-owned one not new. I trust ur opinion Rusty but after seeing so many positive reviews and playing the Demo i think it could be fun. U didn't like it Gradius? Reasons being? I played a bit last night after my batman romp and enjoyed it. Found the geomod needs some tweaking but nothing major. Its still early days but yeah. I enjoy the blow up of stuff.
I really enjoyed this game aswell. Shitty storyline, but what other game can you actually break down anything sticking out of the ground......... with a sledgehammer hehe. I'd definitely give it between 75 - 85 %
There is a Hell, Believe me, I've seen it. If there was a Heaven, I'd keep it a secret
