I enjoyed it for about a hour or so, and I tried really hard to like this title. Story - non existant. Blowing stuff up only goes so far. But I hope you like it though, let us know what u think of it too
Rather buy any of the titles coming out next month..You'll prob end up selling this game or swopping it out very soon

Played a good 2 or 3 hours last night. dialed the difficulty down to normal as on hard the EDF sent in tank and shit everytime i detonated a charge. Enjoying it plenty. The combat walker rocks. took out the entire windfarm with it and about a 100 edf troops and atleast 70 vehicles.
I think speed boost would have made them too powerful. A walker is suppose to be slow. A lock on function for enemies, like in GTA IV, would have smoothed combat out significantly also i would have used Euphoria to give the EDF some concept of mortality. The way they just rush you like a swarm of angry ants is a buzz kill especially on hard difficulty. Im busy with a blog piece on Destructible Environments in Games. Will post link here when its up. In there i give my opinion on how RF could have been better.
Finished Crackdown one and its wasn't this much fun. The completeness of the destruction is what pulls me in. I always try and look at my games from a Designers point of view. Crackdown was too static for my taste, good game in its own field but as far and breaking stuff goes RF is king.
