MWEB ADSL pricing on the rise


MWEB planning to increase entry level ADSL rates after Telkom hikes wholesale prices, but price for higher speeds to remain unchanged

Hmm, it would be great to know what MWEB is planning in terms of pricing on the 2MB packages so I can figure out if it is viable or not! Would be great for no cost extra but we know that isn't going to happen! Fortunately Telkom has given us an out by making the minimum line speed 1MB, which I suspect may prompt a lot of people to downgrade for the equivalent of R134 less a month or R1608 less a year.

But I would be happy enough to pay a small amount extra if it means double line speed!

Yeah me too, but I don't expect it to be more than R300pm otherwise it makes 4mb look a lot more worthwhile.
