Does this not have something to do with the exploits from China?

I see there is an update on Kotaku regarding this:
SourceUPDATE - Blizzard has responded with the following:
We've extensively tested for false positive situations, including replicating system setups for those who have posted claiming they were banned unfairly. We've not found any situations that could produce a false positive, have found that the circumstances for which they were banned were clear and accurate, and we are extremely confident in our findings.
Playing the game on Linux, although not officially supported, will not get you banned – cheating will.

And also why would Warden ban you for using Wine? Warden wouldnt even pick up wine properly just pretending it to be another windows box.
Edit: Also SC2 has been working with WINE for ages
Edit Edit: Seems that there was false positives in Warden a while back for WoW, seems it will just be reversed like it was back then, ppl getting niffy over nothing.

Been playing since launch, always under Wine. I'm not banned. Using Wine is not guaranteed to get you banned. Maybe there is something odd going on with Wine, or maybe not. But until we see any real evidence (and I mean exactly why people are banned), we can't do much about it.
