    Default How to build a Budget gaming pc

    Hi Guys I have recently decided that I'm going to build a gaming pc the only flop is my budget, R8000 Including monitor, Keyboard, Mouse and other accesories on top of that, I never built a pc in my life b4 but this will be a step foward in my Furture IT carrer so any tips on the it will help too thanks, Oh and I do have a current pc but is a watered down verison of an alienware comp and nothing can be saved from it except maybe hard drive

    Then how about you have the first crack at picking the components...

    You won't learn a single thing if you require someone else do the thinking for you.

    Whatever you do, dont skimp on the psu. At least then you comp will be more upgradable too.
    Eight grand is enough for a decent system. Hell i bought a gigabyte laptop for five and a half that can play any game pretty well.

    Someone should probably move this to the hardware section.

    for that budget you should look at getting second hand parts and future proofing rather than tryna build a good new rig...this is basicaly my rig.
    2nd hand amd 955be (approx R700)
    asus m5a97 evo(approx R1500) (around R1200 2nd hand)
    4gb ram(approx R300) (shd be 2x2gb.cheaper 2nd hand)
    amd 7850(approx R2700) (around R2300 2nd hand)
    23" led screen(approx R1700) (around R1300 2nd hand)
    corsair gs800(approx R1200) (around R1000 2nd hand)
    new(blown budget or horrible compromises)
    2nd hand(R6800+case,keyboard and mouse) and most of the parts should last 2 years without impacting on your graphics too much.
    basically i run bf3 on almost the highest graphics(after a little overclocking)and im able to put in a second 7850 when i have the money and any amd cpu for the next 3 generations.power supply will be good for 2 of the new gen graphics cards
    ||955 be @ 3.6ghz||Thermaltake orb2||4gb Kingston 1600 ram||Corsair gs800||Sapphire HD7850||NZXT Switch 810 matte black||Logitech X-530||

    just check on Carbonite, Joker (member here) and Kuga (also member here as posted above) are selling some really decent 2nd hand stuff at cheaper then new rates but the stuff is still under warranty. Check it out, you really don't want to waste money on stuff that is about to pack up
